- Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified, trauma level 3, and PEDS level 3 is looking for a provider to cover In-house call if needed. There are an average of 15 patients per shift and 26 beds in the department. Coverage date needed: 1) May 1, 7am-May 4, 7am 7a-7p will be in-house and 7p-7a call with a 30 min response date. 2) May 22, 7am- May 29, 7am. 7a-7p will be in-house and 7p-7a call with a 30 min response date. Other futures dates are not officially set, but possibly one week/month.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage patient care for an average of 15 patients per shift across a 26-bed department
* Respond to call within 30 minutes when off-site during designated call hours
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a stroke-certified, trauma level 3, and PEDS level 3 facility
* Document patient encounters using Athena or Medhost EMR
Qualifications
* Active Texas medical license or IMLC membership required
* Experience in inpatient pulmonary and critical care management
* Familiarity with Athena or Medhost EMR preferred
Working Hours
* In-house coverage 7 a.m.–7 p.m., followed by 7 p.m.–7 a.m. call with a 30-minute response window
* Additional potential coverage one week per month (dates not yet set)
* Call-only schedule with flexible coverage periods
* Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
Skills
* Ability to manage multiple critically ill patients effectively
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
* Proficiency in EMR documentation using Athena or Medhost
* Reliability and responsiveness for in-house and on-call coverage
