Job description Locums – Pulmonary Critical Care

Location: Longview, Texas

Assignment Details

  • Start Date: 05/01/2026

  • End Date: 05/29/2026

  • Future coverage possible: approximately one week per month (not yet confirmed)

Coverage Dates & Schedule

Block 1:

  • May 1, 7:00 AM – May 4, 7:00 AM

Block 2:

  • May 22, 7:00 AM – May 29, 7:00 AM

Daily Structure During Coverage:

  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM: In-house

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM: In-house call

  • Call response time: 30 minutes

Practice Setting

  • Trauma Level III facility

  • 26-bed department

  • Average 15 patients per shift

  • Assigned and unassigned rounding patients

  • Admissions required

  • EMR: Athena / Medhost

Credentialing Requirements (Quick Screening) Board Status

  • Board Certified – Required

Fellowship

  • Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship – Required

State License

  • Active Texas license – Required

Certifications (All Required)

  • ABLS

  • ACLS

  • ATLS

  • BLS

  • PALS
