Job description
Seeking a Board-Certified Pulmonary Critical Care physician (or BC Critical Care Medicine) for urgent 24-hour coverage. This is a one-day assignment on 8/18 7a – 8/19 7a, with ongoing sporadic needs possible. Provider must be Iowa-licensed, have a clean background, and be fully credentialed for emergency privileges.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage ~13 ICU patients/day (12-bed ICU)
• Minimal APP supervision
• ICU-only patient care
• Use of Cerner EMR
Qualifications
• Active Iowa License – REQUIRED
• ACLS, DEA, CSR – REQUIRED
• COVID vaccination – REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice/background – REQUIRED
Working Hours
• Daytime in-house, nighttime off-site call
Skills
• APP collaboration and oversight
• Proficient in Cerner
