Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
Diagnose and manage complex pulmonary and critical care disorders.
Provide intensive care to critically ill patients, managing respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and sleep studies.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses and needs.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Position Highlights:
Likely starting base salary range: $280,000.00 - $400,000.00
Malpractice: Liability protection
50-55 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Qualifications
Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
