Healthcare United, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a BC/BE physician to join its existing group of Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Physicians. The practice involves the full spectrum of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and/or Sleep Medicine with proportions of practice tailored to the physician’s preference.

Overview:

  • Join an established group of 6 Pulmonologists, 4 Intensivists, 3 Sleep physicians, 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians, 4 dedicated outpatient Respiratory Therapists, and 1 Nurse Specialist.
  • Customized clinical time and roles in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.
  • Opportunities for resident and medical student supervision and teaching.
  • Utilization of advanced technologies such as ECMO, EBUS, and Ultrasound.
  • AASM certified Sleep Center.
  • Full integrated EPIC-EMR system since 2011.
Requirements
  • MD, DO, or MBBS
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified.
  • New York State Licensure.
  • BLS Certification Required.
  • DEA Required.
