Coverage type: Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
Schedule:
Shift Times: 7a-7p, on call 7p-7a (via phone, coming in if necessary) *Critical care trained NP on staff to manage patients and determine when physician needs called 4 nights per week and 4-5 days/week*
Other Info:
Patients per day: Average Daily Census 10 with 3-4 procedures/week
# of ICU/Stepdown Beds: 30 is total of ICU plus stepdown – typically 1-6 true ICU – pre-covid usually 0-2 vents average – with covid can be 0-8
Is Call Required: yes Most calls are early evening if at all – rarely called during sleeping hours
# of pulmonary consults: Consults 0-6
# of physicians or APPs they will be working with: 1 day, 1 evening/night plus Hospitalist team, collegial well-trained ER physicians, Well-trained and highly skilled RT team, pharmacist on ICU unit, RESIDENTS
Number Of Patients Per Shift: 8-10
Number of beds in Hospital: 30
Minimum Board Certification: BE
