We are seeking an experienced full time Academic Pulmonology Critical Care physician at Assistant Professor level to join the Department of Medicine, Pulmonary Critical Care Section. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established program with flexibility in the position to suit the needs and expertise of the applicant. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents, and fellows in the pulmonary critical care fellowship.

This hospital provides a wide breath of Pulmonary and Critical Care services including a Comprehensive Cancer Center, Renal transplant program, large endoscopy suite providing advanced bronchoscopy techniques, specialty critical care units including Neurosurgical and Cardiothoracic ICUs, and advanced cardiovascular support including TAVR, Mitral Clip, and ECMO.

Job Requirements:

  • MD, DO degree or foreign equivalent degree from an accredited program
  • Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary Disease Critical Care
  • Eligible for unrestricted WV Medical License
  • Candidates for Assistant Professor rank must be board eligible in Pulmonary Disease Critical Care
  • Candidate for Associate and Full Professor rank must be board certified in Pulmonary Disease Critical Care
  • All qualifications must be met by time of appointment
