Start Date: 11/30/2026 Coverage

• 5–7 inpatient shifts per month
• 12–19 outpatient days per month
• Occasional night call
• Weekends approximately once per quarter
• Weekend coverage is for inpatient telepsychiatry and may be remote only if the provider resides in Washington

Schedule

• Clinic days: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch
• Inpatient/Outpatient split days:
  • 8:00 AM–12:00 PM: Inpatient
  • 12:00 PM–1:00 PM: Lunch
  • 1:00 PM–5:00 PM: Clinic
• Occasionally may need to start at 7:30 AM if there is court

Practice Setting

• Inpatient and outpatient
• Hospital and clinic are located approximately 5 minutes apart
• Both clinic and hospital privileges required
• Hospital bed size: 126

Inpatient Responsibilities

• Rounding
• Admissions
• Discharges
• Inpatient coverage before transitioning to outpatient clinic

Patient Population

• Adults

Patient Volume

• Approximately 12–14 patients per day
• Inpatient: approximately 5–7 patients before transitioning to outpatient
• Occasional new patients; primarily follow-ups

Outpatient Clinic

• Scheduled hours include time for documentation
• New patients: 90 minutes
• Transfers seen by another clinician in the department: 60 minutes
• Follow-ups: 30 minutes
• No overflow of behavioral health patients; clinic does not overbook

EMR

• Epic

Requirements

• Active Washington license
• IMLC accepted
• BLS certification required
