Locums – Jefferson City, Missouri – Psychiatry
Start Date:
- 12/28/2026
Coverage Needed:
- Weekend inpatient coverage and call
- 1–2 weekends per month, typically 1 weekend per month
- PTO coverage also needed: December 28 – January 8
Schedule Details:
- Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 8:00 AM
- Onsite patient visits during the day
- Call coverage day and night
- PTO coverage generally includes:
- Unit coverage: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call coverage: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Practice Setting:
- Hospital setting
- Inpatient acute behavioral health unit
Patient Population:
- Adults age 18+
- Average daily census: 16 patients
Support Staff:
- RNs
- Technicians
- Social workers
- EMR: Epic
Clinical Services:
- Inpatient behavioral health evaluation and management
Requirements:
- Board Certification required
- 2–3 years of inpatient experience required
- Missouri license required or provider must be willing to obtain one
