Job description
We are seeking Locum Psychiatry Physicians (MD/DO) for an inpatient behavioral health assignment in Eugene, Oregon. This opportunity offers a predictable daytime schedule, no call, and a collaborative inpatient environment caring for adult patients.
Start: October 2026
Call: None
Practice Model: Provider will not work solo
Job Responsibilities
Daily rounding and patient management
New patient admissions
Development and management of treatment plans
Medication management
Coordination of patient care with the behavioral health team
Documentation and clinical follow-up in EPIC
Qualifications
✅ Psychiatry training/experience
✅ Active Oregon medical license
✅ IMLC accepted
✅ BLS certification
✅ Recent inpatient or consultative psychiatry experience
✅ EPIC experience preferred
✅ Ability to demonstrate inpatient/consultative clinical activity involving at least 30 patients within the past 24 months, or qualifying recent residency/fellowship experience
Working Hours
8:00 AM–6:00 PM
Coverage follows a Tuesday–Monday alternating schedule
Day coverage is provided throughout the week
