Take advantage of a high-demand locum tenens Psychiatry opportunity in Eugene, Oregon, providing inpatient behavioral health coverage in a collaborative clinical environment. This travel assignment offers an opportunity to care for adult patients while working alongside other providers in a 35-bed inpatient setting.
With an urgent coverage need and an expedited start, this assignment is ideal for a Psychiatrist seeking a focused inpatient travel opportunity, diverse patient exposure, and a structured daytime schedule. The position is currently approved through December 1, 2026, with an extension submitted.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform rounding and admissions in a 35-bed behavioral health setting.
• Provide inpatient or consultative psychiatric services as required.
• Work collaboratively with other providers; provider will not work solo.
• Document clinical care using EPIC EMR.
Qualifications
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to demonstrate inpatient or consultative services for at least 30 patients during the past 24 months, or qualifying recent residency, fellowship, or research experience.
• Hospital privileges required.
Working Hours
• 11-hour daytime shifts.
• 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
• No call.
• No block schedule.
