## Inpatient Psychiatrist Opening | Georgetown, DE Located in Georgetown, Delaware Full-Time, Permanent ## Practice Overview * Full-time inpatient Psychiatry opportunity in Georgetown, Delaware * 100% on-site position (no telepsychiatry) * Monday through Friday daytime schedule * Average patient census of 18 patients per day * Practice within a 99-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital * Join an established behavioral health team consisting of: * 2 Psychiatrists * 3 Advanced Practice Providers, plus a per diem APP pool * Per diem Psychologists * Treat a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions, including: * Anxiety disorders * Mood and affective disorders * Personality disorders * Developmental disorders * Psychotic disorders * Substance use disorders * Trauma-related disorders * Utilize WellSky EMR * Participate in approximately one weekend per month * Shared weekly phone call responsibilities * Experience with involuntary commitments and psychopharmacology preferred * Permanent position only; locum candidates are not being considered ## Compensation & Recruitment Package * Competitive compensation based on experience * Salary discussed during the interview process ## Job Qualifications * MD or DO * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry * Delaware medical license or eligibility * DEA and CSR/CDS registration required prior to start * BLS certification or willingness to obtain * Experience with inpatient psychiatry, involuntary commitment processes, and pharmacologic management preferred ## Benefits * Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) retirement plan * Paid time off * CME stipend * Comprehensive employee benefits package ## Community Details Georgetown is a charming historic town in southern Delaware that offers a relaxed lifestyle, affordable living, and easy access to Delaware's beautiful Atlantic beaches.
