Seeking BC/BE Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for inpatient psychiatric hospital near Knoxville, Tennessee
Position Highlights:
- Inpatient-only psychiatric practice
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Leadership role overseeing clinical operations and program development
- Established behavioral health program serving adolescents and adults
- Planned expansion to include younger children’s services
- Multidisciplinary team including physicians, APPs, therapists, and discharge planners
- Integrated inpatient and outpatient care coordination
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care
- Lead clinical team and oversee program quality and outcomes
- Develop and implement treatment protocols and initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team
- Support continuity of care with outpatient services
Qualifications:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Leadership experience preferred
- Active Tennessee license or ability to obtain
