Schedule: Full-time Day Shifts
Weekend Requirements: 1 weekend on call out of every 6
On Call requirements: Shared call rotation: 1:6 weekends
Availability: Full Time
Compensation: $$318,449 – $354,957/year
Assignment Duration: Long term permanent
Practice Setting: Inpatient (Outpatient position also available)
Documents required:
- New York State Medical License or eligibility
- Truly Board Eligible OR Board Certified in Psychiatry
- DEA - must be obtain prior start
- Self- Query NPDB
Skills requirement :
- Provide inpatient psychiatric care on a 30-bed adult mental health unit shared between 2 psychiatrists
- Manage patients across three specialized units: Mental Health, MICA (Mentally Ill Chemically Addicted), and Gero-Psychiatry
- Collaborate closely with hospitalists, specialists, and community-based providers
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team including counselors, therapists, case managers, nurse practitioners, and fellow psychiatrists
- Treat a diverse adult psychiatric population
- Deliver patient-centered, compassionate care addressing medical, psychiatric, and social needs
