Position Details
- Specialty: Psychiatry
- Start Date: March 16, 2026
- End Date: March 20, 2026
Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 1-hour unpaid lunch
- No call required
Practice Setting
- Inpatient behavioral health / psychiatric unit
- 20 adult beds
- Support staff: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- EMR: Meditech (compatible with dictation)
- Patient census: up to 20 per day, shared with Psych NP
- Admissions/discharges: ~10 per week each
- Average length of stay: 5–7 days
Required Clinical Skills
- Initial psychiatric evaluations
- Daily rounding
- Psychiatric evaluations as needed on medical floor, detox unit, and ED
