Geriatric Psychiatrist – Coastal Louisiana (Lakeside University Community)
Join a collegial behavioral health team in a vibrant Southwest Louisiana community of ~250,000 residents, just a short drive from the Gulf Coast and Houston, TX.
Position Highlights:
- Blend of inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry and outpatient Adult & Geriatric Psychiatry
- 31-bed dedicated Geriatric Psychiatry unit
- Collaborate with 3 Psychiatrists and 2 Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioners
- Efficient schedule: ½ day inpatient rounds + ½ day outpatient clinic
- Manageable outpatient volume: 7–10 patient visits per half-day clinic
- Robust support: 2 dedicated Medical Assistants for outpatient exams
Compensation & Benefits:
- $360,000 – $375,000 base salary. Earnings exceeding $400k_
- $50,000 signing/starting bonus
- $25,000 annual retention bonus
- Eligible for $25,000 annual quality bonus
- Full benefits package, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, relocation assistance
