Seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist for a Director of Geriatric Behavior Health opportunity in New Hampshire.

  • voluntary short stay inpatient unit for older adults (65years old and up) struggling with mental health concerns.
  • Designed and staffed to treat the needs associated with aging in a caring and sensitive environment, this unit is a 'referral in' center for New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, and beyond.
  • Our interdisciplinary team consisting of a psychiatrist, gerontologists, registered nurses, licensed nursing assistants, social workers, and recreational therapists, provides a holistic patient-centered approach that attends to the mental, physical, and psychosocial aspects of the individual.

Located on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest, the area sits along the Connecticut River at the mouth of the Ammonoosuc River. You're surrounded by beautiful terrain and mountains, state and national parks, wildlife habitat, and public recreation. The area is known for its covered bridges, beautiful fall foliage and Lupine Festival. Named as a top 10 Rural County to live in, the Appalachian trail runs through at least 10 towns in Grafton County.
