Tele Psychiatry Locum Opportunity - St. Louis, MO
Job Description:
ClinicCare Health is looking for a Tele Psychiatrist
8 hour days
100% Geriatric Patients
No Weekends
No Nights
1-2 Days per week.
12-18 visits per day
Duties
* Utilize assigned telemedicine software
* Utilize AdvancedMD electronic medical record (EMR) software
* Hold interactive sessions with elderly patients
* Prescribe necessary medications
* Review patients’ medical history
* Advise patients on behavioral health and general wellness practices
* Order additional medical tests to form a better diagnosis if necessary
* Formulates and/or implements a treatment plan to address deficits and patient/family areas of concern.
* Provides education/consultation to patient, family and health care team
* Obtaining complete medical history and writing reports
*Receive support and assistance with any available patient evaluations from local employed clinical assistant/providers
Requirements:
* MD/DO
* Completion of an Accredited Psychiatric Residency
* Missouri license in good standing
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective working relationships with geriatric community
* You must also be proficient with computers, have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, EMR databases
