A State Hospital is seeking a Psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.

This is a role for the Chief of Psychiatry. The psychiatrist will not carry a caseload and responsibilities include Medical supervision, psychiatric supervision, overseeing clinical care decisions between providers and teams, oversee difficult cases, and ensuring coverage for MOD shifts. The psychiatrist must have previous leadership experience, 5 years preferred, and be board certified. This position will be 35 hours per week with a 1 hour lunch. Credentialing takes around 45 days.
