Are you a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry physician searching for your next exciting locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA’s healthcare partners in Oklahoma might just be the opportunity for you!
Opportunity Highlights

  • Schedule: Start November 2 or November 9, 2026; Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 5:00 p.m.; no Federal holidays
  • Job Setting: Primarily outpatient pediatric and adolescent Behavioral Health Clinic, with occasional inpatient psychiatric consultation
  • Types of Cases: ADHD, anxiety, depression, adverse childhood experiences, mood disorders, eating disorders, autism-related psychiatric needs, psychotic disorders, self-harm concerns, and occasional crisis intervention; approximately 12 to 16 patients per day
  • Credentialing: Allow a minimum of 30 calendar days for credentialing; medical staff appointment and clinical privileges are required

Minimum Requirements for Consideration

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible: Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology; child and adolescent psychiatry experience required
  • Experience: At least five years of post-residency experience, including at least two years of pediatric experience
  • Certifications: Current Basic Life Support certification
  • Licensure: Permanent, current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory
  • Additional Requirements: Current DEA registration, eligibility for IHS credentialing and privileging, United States citizenship, required professional liability coverage, and successful completion of the applicable background and child-protection screening requirements
