Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Part-Time Contract (Approx. 20 Hours/Month)
San Antonio, TX (Bexar County)
We are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to provide part-time psychiatric oversight and clinical support in collaboration with the Center for Health Care Services and Bexar County Juvenile Probation. This is a flexible, low-hour commitment ideal for a physician looking to supplement their current practice.
Position Overview:
- Provide medical management and clinical oversight for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations for pediatric and adolescent populations
- Support care coordination and ensure quality of psychiatric services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams serving at-risk youth
Schedule:
- Approximately 20 hours per month
- Flexible scheduling options available
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD or DO with specialization in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (preferred) or experience treating pediatric populations
- Active Texas Medical License (required)
- Active DEA Registration (required)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (preferred)
