Adelphi is seeking a part-time Child Psychiatrist to provide onsite care in Denton County, Texas. The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat children and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, specialized care.

Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (M.D. or D.O.) with an active, unrestricted Texas medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (Child & Adolescent preferred)
- Valid DEA registration
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA-approved)
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Completion of all required agency and facility-specific training Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders in children with intellectual disabilities.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Justify and manage psychotropic medications.
- Accurately document clinical encounters using an electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
- Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary teams and families.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
