About the Role
A growing multidisciplinary healthcare organization is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join its expanding behavioral health program in San Antonio, Texas.

The organization provides comprehensive behavioral health, psychiatric, and integrated primary care services, focusing on evidence-based treatment and patient-centered care. The clinical team works collaboratively to deliver coordinated and personalized mental health services while improving access to high-quality psychiatric care.

The Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations. This role involves close collaboration with psychiatric nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and high-quality mental health care.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations

Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric disorders

Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans

Provide medication management and follow-up care

Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners and clinical staff

Participate in supervision and case consultations when needed

Support evidence-based psychiatric care and clinical quality initiatives

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain

Experience treating adolescent and adult psychiatric populations

Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills

Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
