Is seeking a Locum Psychiatrist to provide full-time coverage for its Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. This opportunity offers a structured weekday schedule with shared call responsibilities and strong onsite support.
🗓 Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Call rotation: 1:4
- Full-time availability required
🏥 Practice Setting
- Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit
- 30-bed adult unit (split between 2 physicians – approx. 15 patients per provider)
- Total inpatient psychiatry team includes 3 employed physicians + 2 locum openings
- Outpatient team (fully staffed) includes 5 physicians and 1 APP
- EMR: Epic
👩⚕️ Clinical Details
- Adult inpatient psychiatric care
- Weekend call may include crisis unit evaluations
- Pediatric patients only seen during weekend crisis coverage and transferred if admitted
- Collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support

⏳ Credentialing
- Start as soon as credentialed
✅ Requirements
- Board Certified Psychiatrist
- Active New York License (required at time of submission)
- ACLS Certification
- Self-Query NPDB (dated within the same month as submission)
