Job description Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Part-Time or Full-Time (Hybrid)

Location: Bronx Specialty: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Position Highlights
  • Outpatient-only role — no call, no inpatient or hospital responsibilities

  • Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a growing behavioral health team

  • Hybrid schedule: combination of in-person care at Bronx locations and telepsychiatry visits

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and adolescents (under age 18)

  • Collaborative, integrated care model with strong multidisciplinary support

  • H1B visa sponsorship available

  • EMR: eClinicalWorks

  • Join a large, established multispecialty group with locations across Greater NYC

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for pediatric and adolescent patients

  • Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care

  • Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, primary care providers, and school-based staff

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

  • Participate in care coordination, case conferences, and integrated care initiatives

  • Support the development and expansion of pediatric and adolescent behavioral health programs

Qualifications
  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

  • Active, unrestricted New York State medical license

  • DEA license; Suboxone waiver (or willingness to obtain)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with diverse pediatric populations

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to care

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid and telehealth-based model

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

  • Experience in community health settings, FQHCs, or underserved urban populations
