Job Description:
Compensation : $115000 - $135000 Job ID : 40979
Job Function:
Provide and oversee psychiatric services, ensuring coordinated and comprehensive care across the health services team.
Collaborate with the Associate Psychiatric Director to design and implement integrated behavioral health models.
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, provide crisis intervention, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications in collaboration with clients’ Primary Care Providers.
Offer consultation and clinical guidance to staff regarding psychiatric assessments and client dispositions.
Coordinate and assess hospitalizations in partnership with the interdisciplinary care team.
Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, discharge plan.
Job Requirements:
Must hold a valid license to practice medicine in New York State (M.D. or D.O.).
Completion of psychiatry training with certification or eligibility for certification is required.
Understanding of state mental health standards and compliance practices is expected.
