Job description
Our client is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a mission-driven behavioral health program serving youth and families. This role provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning within a structured 35-hour work week.
You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams across outpatient clinics, PHP, and crisis services — with opportunities for teaching medical students and psychiatry residents through an academic appointment.
Job Responsibilities
Recommend therapeutic interventions and collaborate on treatment plans
Prescribe and manage medications; maintain accurate med records
Monitor youth receiving medication treatment at scheduled intervals
Participate in clinical team meetings
Maintain medical documentation per QA standards
Review and sign treatment plans
Participate in teaching/academic activities (optional)
Qualifications
NYS Medical License
DEA License
Board Certified/Eligible – Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
