Child Psychiatrist Locums Job | Working with Youth in the Juvenile Justice System | Southern California
Details/Requirements:
--WORK SCHEDULE: 8am to 4:30pm (8 hours a day, 5 days a week) or 8am to 6:30pm (10 hours a day, 4 days a week)
--SCHEDULE TYPE: Regular 5/40 (8 hours per day) or 4/40 schedule (10 hours per day)
--Need starts ASAP for up to twelve months for a child psychiatrist to provide locum tenens services for 40 hours a week evaluating and treating youth with severe mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders, providing one-on-one psychiatric assessments, medication management, therapeutic support, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT).
--Psychiatrists conduct in-depth individual appointments, often lasting up to 150 minutes for initial evaluations and 60-90 minutes for follow-ups.
--Client has an electronic health record, so you be computer savvy.
--The treatment team communicates regularly through bi-weekly psychiatrists’ meetings, weekly onsite team sessions, and daily coordination via Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
--Two worksite locations for this job, one in Downey and the other in Commerce!
