Job description

Job description A well-established outpatient behavioral health practice in Davenport, IA is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its multidisciplinary team. The practice is known for providing comprehensive psychiatric and psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, and families. This is a full-time, in-person position offering a collaborative work environment and strong support staff to ensure focus on patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing medication management and therapy for child and adolescent patients.
• Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, counselors, and nursing staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in case consultations and care coordination with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and ethical standards.
• Participate in call rotation as scheduled (details to be determined).

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry (required).
• Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (required).
• Active Iowa medical license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Clean malpractice record preferred.
• Not accepting J1 or H1B visa candidates.
• Must be eligible to practice independently in the United States.

Working Hours

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with call rotation as scheduled.
