Child & Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist Outpatient Locum Tenens Job in the California Bay Area
Details/Requirements:
*Need is for a combination of child and adolescent and adult outpatient coverage starting ASAP and ongoing for 5 days/40 hours a week. Onsite candidates only. No remote tele psychiatry.
*For adults, client allows 90 minutes for initial evaluations and 30 minutes for medication follow ups. For children and adolescents, client allows 90 minutes for initial evaluations and 30-45 minutes for medication follow ups.
*Age range for children and adolescents are 6 – 17 years and for adults it’s 18 and up.
*Hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday.
*No call.
*Requires a double board Psychiatrist in general psychiatry and child & adolescent.
*Credentialing of the locum tenens Psychiatrist takes approximately 2 weeks which includes a requirement for each doctor to take a personality test.
*Electronic medical record system, so candidates must be computer savvy.
*Prefers 3 to 6 month minimum assignments.
