Job description
We are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist—fellowship-trained and board-certified/eligible—to join our behavioral health team on a locum assignment in Vero Beach, Florida. Coverage is needed starting January 2026 and will continue for 6–12 months.
Position Details

Provide psychiatric care for child and adolescent patients, with additional coverage for adult and geriatric populations to supplement volume (child/adolescent census typically under 10).

Perform hospital intakes, consultations, inpatient rounding, and ED evaluations.

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary inpatient setting, with potential for outpatient visits as needed.
Requirements

Completed Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

Active Florida medical license required

Preference for providers residing or practicing in Florida, especially within driving distance of Vero Beach

Inpatient and consult-liaison experience strongly preferred
Setting

Inpatient psychiatric hospital with separate pediatric, geriatric, and adult units

Supportive clinical environment with an experienced behavioral health team
