Prairie St. John's, a 128-bed psychiatric care facility located in Fargo, North Dakota, has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, residential treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, free-standing behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's.

Prairie St. Johns is building a new, replacement facility and will be expanding from 110-beds, to 128-beds, including the addition of ECT services.

We are currently seeking a Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Medical Staff for Child/Adolescent In-Patient Services.

Job Details:

• • Part Time or PRN: Weekday coverage

• • Employed position or open to Independent Contractor

• • On-site or Tele-psychiatry options!

• • In-Patient setting: 22 bed child/adolescent unit

• • Child/Adolescent case load (ages 4-17)

• • Mental Health & Dual Diagnosis

• • Very reasonable call rotation for on-site psychiatrist; 2 weekends/quarter

• • No weekend rounding/call for tele-psychiatrist

• Child/Adolescent PMHNP on staff

Qualifications:

• • ND Medical License, or ability to obtain

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
