The organization is actively seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to become a valuable member of their dynamic team.

The position involves working at an on-site outpatient clinic and a 20-bed child and adolescent inpatient unit. The current team consists of three adult psychiatrists, one geriatric psychiatrist, and one child and adolescent psychiatrist. The recruitment is prompted by an increase in patient volumes within the community.

Call responsibilities are shared among the providers, ensuring 24/7/365 intake and assessment coverage.

Physicians follow a balanced practice of inpatient and outpatient care, including clinic duties and daily patient rounding from Monday to Friday. All facilities are conveniently located on a single campus, with each building just steps away from the other. There are also opportunities to contribute to the education of residents through the Psychiatry Residency Program.

The community served comprises over 300,000 residents in western Georgia and eastern Alabama. Columbus, situated 90 minutes southwest of Atlanta and 40 minutes from Auburn, Alabama, is the second-largest city in Georgia. It offers a blend of a small-town atmosphere with the amenities of a larger city, making it an ideal location for both outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking reputable public and private school options.
