Healthcare United is expanding its team and seeking a skilled BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a hospitalist-based practice near DeKalb, IL, 1 hour from west Chicago. This role involves overseeing the child and adolescent inpatient unit situated in our state-of-the-art Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Overview:
- Provides psychiatric support in dedicated rooms within the Emergency Department
- 24-hour crisis intervention team for ED call.
- Academic appointment and teaching opportunities are available
Requirements
- Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Active Illinois medical license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience in inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry
- Commitment to academic excellence and teaching
