Saint Alphonsus Medical Group seeks a BC/BE Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to become part of a physician led 500+ provider multi-specialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region. Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for adolescents, children and adults. Psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions are provided via a multidisciplinary treatment team.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse child and adolescent outpatient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial, multidisciplinary team and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Support: Support: Practice includes 1 Physician, 1 APP and 2 Clinical Psychologists, and a LCSW and recruitment of additional providers underway. This spacious, recently renovated clinic setting on the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center campus is part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Primary Care and Specialty Clinics.

Schedule
Traditional workweek, Monday – Friday, no weekends, no call.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree

  • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program

  • Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training required

  • Board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) - or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment

  • Obtain Idaho medical licensure and Medical Staff privileges at SARMC

  • Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
