We are seeking a Locum Inpatient Psychiatrist to provide high-quality care on an adult behavioral health unit. This is a weekday-focused role with a balanced patient load, strong multidisciplinary support, and a secure hospital environment. Ideal for providers looking for a stable inpatient assignment with predictable hours.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide psychiatric care to adult inpatient population
• Conduct evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
• Participate in interdisciplinary team collaboration 🤝
• Share call responsibilities on a rotating basis
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Active New York medical license
• ACLS certification
• Clean background for expedited credentialing
• Ability to commit to full-time coverage
Working Hours
• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-call & weekend coverage: 1:4 rotation
Skills
• Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Experience in inpatient adult psychiatry
• Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC) 💻
