We are seeking a Board-Certified (BC) Psychiatrist for an ongoing, full-time Locum Tenens assignment in California, serving as a Medical Director/Attending with a focus on inpatient care continuity.
Assignment Details
- Specialty: Psychiatry (Medical Director/Attending Role)
- Start Date: December 15, 2025
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Call + Clinic (Inpatient/Rounding Focus)
- Patient Age: Adults only (Age 18+; No Children)
- EMR: Cerner
- License: Active California (CA) License required.
- Credentialing Timeline: 60 Days
Schedule & Commitment
- Weekday Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- Night Call: No overnight call.
- Weekend Call: One weekend per month required, consisting of rounding only from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
- Commitment Priority: We need a provider who can work Full-Time the whole month to ensure patient care continuity. Candidates able to commit for only one week or every other week will not be accepted.
Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) is mandatory.
- Experience: Candidates must have a strong inpatient background.
- Life Support: BLS required.
