Requirements:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency program
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
• Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Texas
• Current DEA registration; DEA-X waiver strongly preferred
• Experience in crisis psychiatry or acute behavioral health settings
• Proficiency with telehealth technology and electronic health records (EHRs)
• Availability for evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Strong clinical judgment, decision-making, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
• Perform remote psychiatric evaluations for adult patients in crisis
• Initiate and manage medication treatment plans
• Respond to consultation requests within 15 minutes during active shifts
• Collaborate with on-site clinicians to ensure coordinated care and patient stabilization
• Accurately document all encounters in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Maintain compliance with all HIPAA, state, and federal guidelines
