Job Description

Location: Raleigh, NC

Practice setting: Hospital and/or Clinic

Start Date: Sept 1 or 15 - end of December; potential to extend.

Schedule: Flexible. Open to 7 on 7 off or part time monthly

Shift Times: 8a-5p with night and weekend call. Weekend call includes morning rounding + pager call the rest of day. Must be nearby hospital if called in for emergency.

EMR: Epic

Patients per day: 9-10 per physician

Skills Required: Experience working with SMI population, Emergency Psychiatry experience, Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team; foundation in psychopharmacology, ability to work with patients who have detox needs, ability to prescribe Suboxone and Clozapine

Additional Info: For clinic: must be comfortable seeing ages 4yo +. For inpatient: must be comfortable seeing ages 18yo+.
