Community Health Center that has provided access to high quality, affordable health care for children and adults of all ages — regardless of their ability to pay — for 50 years is seeking full time experienced, Board Certified Psychiatrist to join their team.

  • Hours: M-F, 8-5
  • Call is always from home or remote, very light call schedule, approx. 1 in every 8 days or weekends
  • Approximately 22 to 24 patients per 8 hours of patient care. Approximately 2.5 to 3 patients per hour.
  • Behavioral Health Services supports cultural diversity and clinical excellence. With a team of bicultural, bilingual experienced clinicians, treatment is provided for children, adolescents and adults through individual, group, couple, and family therapy sessions. The diverse backgrounds, orientation and specialties of our clinicians enable the Health Center to provide an individualized approach to the problems that confront clients.
  • Visa sponsorship available.
  • To evaluate the physiological, neurological, psychopharmacological and psychiatric status of the program's clients, including all referrals, from age 5y/o.
  • To prescribe and monitor psychotropic medication.
  • To participate in the development of diagnostic formulations and treatment plans, as well as weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
  • To provide direct psychotherapy, when indicated.
  • To participate in utilization review and quality management programs.
  • To coordinate the program's relationship with hospitals and to provide general consultation to all staff as required.
  • To provide oversight/supervision and consultation for Nurse Prescribers.

Mass League Loan repayment plan also available.

HPSA score of 11 for Primary Care and 17 for Mental Health.

The Community:
