We are one of the largest psychiatric practice north of San Francisco. **Duties/Requirements:** * Perform psychiatric diagnosis, treatment interpretations and recommendations * Provide effective treatment; formulate, implement and evaluate treatment plans * Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with applicable laws * Prepare and maintain clear, concise and comprehensive records, reports and correspondence * Adhere to Medicare Standard level of care and documentation for Billing and Coding * Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. **Hospital Information:** * Average patient load per day is between 12-15 * Adult population (Child Psychiatrist will see Adolescent and Adult population) * 70 bed hospital with an average length stay of 3 days * Hospital has inpatient and intensive outpatient program **Requirements:** * Board certified or eligible * Completion of a residency training program in Psychiatry that provides good standing and approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology * Valid DEA Certificate * Current California license with no prior history of Board action in any other state * Comfortable with Dictation System and writing daily, currently no EMR in place. **Benefits:** * Health insurance including dental & vision * 401K Retirement Plan (up to 4% match) * Annual Optional Profit-Sharing Retirement Contribution (Additional 1-3%) * DEA Certification and License Reimbursement * Paid time off per year * Malpractice Insurance Coverage * Mandatory Weeknight on call from home (alt weeks schedule) * $5,000 Sign on bonus (after 30 days of employment) * $5,000 relocation bonus or attorney fees (after 30 days of employment) * $1500 CME Activity Reimbursement * On Call Reimbursement ($3000/weekend call, 1 weekend/month) * Free daily cafeteria meal from Hospital
