Psychiatry (adult; 80% outpatient; 20% inpatient) Opportunity in Nebraska!!
Seeking a Psychiatrist to provide full-time, inpatient and outpatient medical
services for the hospital and it's clinics. Clinical duties include providing
inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to patients through the Hospital
and Outreach Clinics. Diagnose and treat mental, behavioral, and emotional
disorders. Analyze and evaluate patient data and test findings to diagnose
extent of patient disorders and prescribe, direct and administer
psychotherapeutic treatments and medications. Provide general medical
supervision and direction of Behavioral Health Services program and conduct
periodic assessments of behavioral health care at the Hospital to recommend and
assist in implementation of changes to strengthen and improve care. Participate
in educational programs and review and revise policies, procedures, rules and
regulations for program. Participate in Hospital programs and
committees and in Hospital's Quality Assurance Program. Provide timely and
clear documentation and diagnosis, perform medical audits and prepare medical
records as required. Provide and document clinical supervision and non-medical
professional staff as requested. Must have MD or equivalent; Nebraska Medical
License; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry; and a 4-year
Residency Training in Psychiatry. Minimum 40 hrs./week. On-call and weekend
duties as required.
