Job description
Gorgeous location along the river in Western Illinois. Over 3hrs to Chicago, 2hrs to St. Louis. Great community to raise a family and enjoy the 4 seasons. Hunting and fishing are in excess. Population of 50,000 and more including the surrounding communities. Very little crime and no heavy traffic to worry about here. H1 visa is accepted here. This is an employed position of a health system.
Benefits Package (Health, Vacation, CME, etc.): Benefit info attached, CME $5,000 with 1 week of CME time off, PTO 4 weeks (plus 1 week CME) after two years, PTO increases to 6 weeks (plus 1 week CME).
# Beds: The units are licensed for 41 beds broken down as follows: adult behavioral medicine has 10 beds, adult psychiatric service has 16 beds and the child and adolescent unit has 15 beds. All rooms are semi-private or private and have outside windows. The new units have inpatient space, outpatient clinic space, and an indoor and outdoor gym. There are restraint / seclusion rooms and cameras for monitoring. The physician’s offices are located in the adjoining medical office building along with the other Blessing Physician Services physicians and providers.
Procedures Required: Looking for someone to do outpatient, possible inpatient, consultations, interest in telepsych, rotating call coverage.
Census/Patients Per Day: total average daily census of 28.83
Shift Schedule/Coverage: If they are strictly outpatient it is 8 – 5 today. The doctors who are attending on the inpatient units usually start at 6:30 – 7:00 depending on what they want to do and then come to the outpatient clinic anywhere from 9 – 11 to see patients ending anywhere from 3 – 5. It varies physician to physician.
