Psychiatry opening in Nashville
Summary of Job:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Provides psychiatric evaluation and on-going treatment
- Ensures accuracy of diagnosis and appropriate pharmacological intervention
- Monitors for medication side effects
- Supports appropriate multidisciplinary interventions, maintains the electronic medical record
- Provides supervision to nurse practitioners and ensures appropriate documentation of supervision and compliance with State regulations
- Maintains collegial participation with other clinic staff
- Participates in the on-call rotation as assigned
- Attends specified clinic, medical staff, and educational meetings ( see addendum for meetings)
- Maintains record of CME
- Reviews appropriate current literature in psychiatry
