Our client is seeking a Psychiatrist to treat patients with behavioral health issues in an outpatient setting and/or out in the field.

Join a dynamic, collaborative team who together provide a plan of care for our patients. This position will involve coordinating plan of care with primary care providers to include psychiatric consults, completing diagnostic evaluations and ongoing medical management services.

Responsibilities

• Completing comprehensive and ongoing mental health assessments formulating treatment plans, initiating treatment, & managing psychiatric and medical issues of all patients
• Providing sound judgment with regard to disposition planning
• Management of inter-disciplinary team issues that affect clinical care of patients
• Documenting incidents in conjunction with nursing
• Documentation of incidents in conjunction with other members of the treatment team

Requirements:

• Board-certified or board eligible Psychiatrist.
• Ability to be recovery-oriented and trauma-informed.
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills required.
• A strong work ethic and desire to participate in and grow a team-oriented, performance-driven department
