We are seeking a locum tenens psychiatrist to work 12 hour shifts each week. The facility is located in western Virginia.
The locum will do evaluations and med checks for patients whose ages range anywhere from 18 to 65 years old. This position is to fill in while the hospital continues to recruit for someone to fill their position permanently.
The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day, with no call, no weekends and no holidays. As an attending Psychiatrist, the locum will treat patients daily, check their stability on their meds, etc. and he or she will also document all their notes each day.
