WILKES-BARRE, PA - Psychiatry Opportunity
First Hospital in Wiles-Barre, PA is seeking a BC/BE Fellowship-trained Psychiatrist to provide OUTPATIENT consults at the Community Counseling Services office in Wilkes-Barre.
The position offers competitive salary, medical education loan repayment, stipend, relocation allowance, bonus, and comprehensive benefits package.
Number of beds in the inpatient unit 149 beds.
Approximate split between conditions seen and if unit is split between C&A, Adult and Gero; or by condition.
Patients are separated in units by acuity and condition.
Psychiatrists have a good working relationship with each other and work out call schedule. Some take more than others since it is additional income. Generally speaking - call is 1:6.
Number of Psychiatrists on staff: 10
Employment Agreement
Recruitment Reason: Replacement
Would consider a 7 on/ 7 off schedule.
Outpatient is most likely 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm.
