We are currently recruiting for a psychiatrist to join our group in Selah, WA! Our psychiatrists are part of a multidisciplinary team that provides integrated behavioral health treatment to clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborating with therapists, case managers, nurses and other members the treatment team, Psychiatrists assist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each client. Taking ownership of the pharmacological intervention portion of treatment, our Psychiatrists complete psychiatric evaluations, prescribe appropriate medications, and provide general medical counseling & referrals. Psychiatrists also have the opportunity to provide clinical direction and support to our medical provider team.
This position will serve clients at our brand new inpatient clinic that opened April 2019. This sixteen-bed, secure facility serves adults who require short-term inpatient treatment due to a crisis or change in function related to mental illness. This facility provides evaluation, stabilization, and brief treatment for adult men and women in a supportive, trauma-informed environment. An integrated, multidisciplinary team of professionals provides individualized treatment and a comprehensive discharge plan that emphasizes family support and community resources. As the psychiatrist gains experience with our programs, the opportunity may arise to supervise physician assistants, provide consultations and support to mid-level providers, and provide leadership to treatment teams.
Adult inpatient evaluation & treatment facility, 16 beds
Co-ed, ages 18+
Responsible for up to 8 clients at a time
No travel
