CROSS COUNTRY LOCUMS (CCL), Formerly MDA, IS SEEKING ADULT INPATIENT PSYCHIATRIST FOR WEEKEND AND/OR PART-TIME LT COVERAGE NEED JUST OUTSIDE OF NASHVILLE, TN
* Setting: Inpatient care for adults with acute mental health problems. Adults only - ages 18-65
* 34 Operational beds
* Start Date: Last weekend of October for 90 days with a possible extension
* Coverage need is for one (1) psychiatrist to cover 1-2 weekends per month and then 1 psychiatrist to cover 20 hours per week
* Weekend hours: Friday 5pm through Monday 7am (Psychiatrist will be rounding on existing and new patients and taking call)
* Daily census: 20 patients
* EMR: None, Psychiatrist will be paper charting.
* There are two units: G1 - Active Psychotic Disorders; and G2 - Dual Diagnosis: Mood and anxiety disorders, suicidal thoughts or attempts, homicidal thought or attempts, Bi-polar and acute psychotic disorders, Dual diagnosis including alcohol and drug detoxification.
CCL will pay for and arrange all travel and lodging. Compensation paid weekly via Direct Deposit. Malpractice Liability Insurance provided by A++ rated carrier, The Medical Protective.
