Job Description

The primary focus of the Psychiatrist is to lead behavioral health medication management and consultation services. This position is in Fresno, about halfway between Sacramento and Los Angeles. Fresno has plenty of hidden gems including: the tower district known for its unique shops and fantastic restaurants, growing technology scene, the year-round farmers markets, and Fresno’s up-and-coming wineries.

Details:

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Provide behavioral health and social service care to patients
  • Collaborate with Primary Care Providers to assess patients’ needs
  • Work with perinatal services program to refer and treat patients that require psycho-social and social service care
  • Cover various health centers when necessary
  • Telehealth coverage as needed

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Psychiatry or Board Eligible with Certification within one year
  • Unrestricted California medical license
  • Current DEA Certification
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
